What are your rates?

Costs are based on a number of variables –  the square footage of the home, scope of work, types of flooring, frequency of cleanings, etc.  Please call our office and will be happy to discuss your home cleaning needs and give you a quote.

Regular Rates
$45.00/man-hour (2-1/2 hour minimum) – regular rates are for weekdays (Monday thru Friday) excluding major holidays.

Weekend Rates
$50.00/man-hour (3 hour minimum) – weekends are not within our normal hours and only on special request if a Team Member is available.

*sales tax for your area will be applied at time of service.

How many people will clean my home?

We have solo cleaners and 2-person teams. The size of the team that cleans your home depends on the location and the size of your home.

What frequency of cleanings do you have?

Weekly, biweekly, monthly and one-time.

Are you insured & bonded to perform cleaning services?

Yes.  We are covered with Workers’ Compensation and liability and are fully bonded. This covers your home, our cleaners and our business.

What areas do you service?

We serve Utica, New Hartford, Whitesboro, Clinton, Washington Mills, Marcy, Schuyler, and Barneveld

Do I need to be home when we clean?

You do not need to be at home. Whatever you are comfortable with is what matters.  You can allow us to have access to your home in a variety of ways:

  • Be there to let us in
  • Give us a key
  • Give us an alarm or garage code
  • Leave key in a safe place each visit

Do I need to provide cleaning products?

No. We provide all supplies and equipment. If you have a special request, you may leave the product in a visible place for the team to use.

Will I always have the same person or team of people cleaning my home?

Unfortunately, Emily’s Cleaning cannot guarantee that the same person or team of people will clean your home every time. However, we DO guarantee 100% quality and satisfaction. Each Cleaning Technician and team will be furnished with a detailed written description of your particular cleaning service needs before they come to your home. If you are not satisfied with any service, simply notify us within 24 hours and someone will be in touch with you to fix the problem.

How do I pay for services?

Payment is due at time of service.  Payment can be made via check, Paypal, cash or credit card.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes. We ask that if you need to cancel, please give us 48 hours’ notice to allow us to change scheduling for the team. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a service fee of $50.00 plus taxes will apply. If canceling the same day or if we arrive at your home and are locked out, a charge in the amount of half of your usual service fee or $50.00 (whichever is greater)  plus taxes will be charged to you.
